Offense Struggles in the Second Half as The Saints Fall to Cleary

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team fell to WHAC conference opponent Cleary, 59-53 on Wednesday. 

George Kalatzis led the Saints in scoring with 15 points while also collecting four rebounds. Jonas Tester also scored in double-figures adding 12 points. 

SHU 5-15 (2-10) held the lead at halftime 31-22 shooting 61.9% from the floor and 50.0% from behind the arc in the first half. 

In the second half, the offense struggled as the Saints only scored 22 points in the half, as Cleary went on a 20-3 run in a span of 7:36 to take the lead 49-41, and held the lead the remainder of the game. 

On the evening, the Saints shot 42.9% from the floor and 21.4% from behind the three-point line. 

The Saints will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 25, with a 3:00 p.m. EST game vs Indiana Tech.
