ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team fell to WHAC conference opponent Lawrence Tech, 79-62 on Saturday.
Nate Houston III led the Saints in scoring with 16 points. Brent Wiles also found himself in double figures with 12 points and led the team in rebounds with six.
SHU 3-7 (2-3) started out the game on an 11-2 run in the first 3:18 of game action. Lawrence Tech eventually grabbed their first lead of the game with 8:11 remaining in the first half when they found themselves up 18-17. From that point on, Lawrence Tech did not give up the lead for the remainder of the game.
In the second half, Lawrence Tech pulled away as they outscored the Saints in the second half 44-34.
On the afternoon, the Saints shot 42.1% from the floor and 23.1% from behind the three point line.
The Saints will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 14, with a 1:00 p.m. EST game vs non-conference opponent, Miami-Middletown.
