Jim Hamilton will begin his eighth season with the Siena Heights football team. Coach Hamilton will be entering his second season as the Co-Special Teams Coordinator and coaching the kickers, punters, and long snappers. Previously, he coached the tight ends and offensive line at Siena and served in the same capacity for three years at Adrian College.

Jim earned his Bachelor’s from Adrian College and graduated with his Master’s in organizational leadership from Siena Heights University in 2015.

Prior to moving to the college ranks, Hamilton coached at Madison High School for 25 years, including 20 of those as head coach. He was named MHSFCA Regional Coach of the Year in 1993 and later coached future NCAA Division III all-time leading tackler, Tavarski Wallace. He continues in the role of Physical Education and Health Teacher at Madison where he has taught for 31 years.

Hamilton currently serves as a Master Trainer with Heads Up Football® - a comprehensive program developed by USA Football to advance player health and safety in youth and high school football. USA Football® National team recently selected Jim to serve as Offensive Line coach for the U-17 Stars teams in the international bowl where they defeated Team Ontario. Jim also currently serves as a coach for the Detroit Lions Youth Education Division and has done so for the last 15 years.

Coach Hamilton has been married for 26 years to his wife, Kate, and they have three children - Samantha, Alex, and Sydney.
