Senior defensive back Trevon Claybourne (Redford, Mich.) was named to the 2019 Associated Press (AP) All-America Second-Team Defense on Friday afternoon.
Claybourne finished the 2019 season with 37 tackles, 22 solo stops, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and two interceptions. He was a key member of a Saints defense that ranked fourth in the country in scoring allowing only 12.1 points per game on average.
The Redford, Michigan native was named NAIA and AFCA All-America earlier this month. He joins four other players from the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) on the AP All-America teams.
