Caleb Meister Earns MSFA Special Teams Player of the Week

Siena Heights Sophomore punter Caleb Meister (Toledo, Ohio) was chosen the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast Special Teams Player of the Week the league office announced this afternoon.

Meister continues to be the biggest weapon in the field position battle for the Saints as he booted nine punts for 342 yards and pinned the No. 5 Concordia (Mich.) Cardinals inside their own 20-yard line four times last Saturday.

This is Meister's first MSFA player of the week selection of his career. The SHU football team has had four players of the week this season (Vincent Walker, Defense, Sept. 23 / Kaleb Jefferson, Offense, Sept. 30 / ShaMarr Simmons, Special Teams, Sept. 30), all four have come the past three weeks.
