Siena Heights Esports FIFA player Lucas Carvalho completed his season on Monday, April 26 with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Victor Jeronimo from St. Johns University in the championship round. 

The matchup was intense as Carvalho's opponent jumped out to a 5-2 win in game one. Game two started with a 3-1 lead for Carvalho, but Jeronimo rallied from behind and took game two 4-3. 

Carvalho highlighted his year with an undefeated 8-0 season in the Fall where he averaged a winning margin of the goals. He won the championship in the fall and brought home the champions trophy. The runner-up trophy from this spring bracket will be his third this season. He finished 9-2 in the spring for a total record of 17-2 in 2020-21.

"I am really proud of the work Lucas has accomplished in FIFA this season," said Esports interim head coach Benjamin Sunderman. "Bringing three trophies to Siena Heights is no small feat."
