KANSAS CITY -- Siena Heights competitive dance juniors Haleigh Ouellette (Onsted, Mich.) and Jenna Stahl (Monroe, Mich.) were both named 2019 Daktronics-NAIA competitive dance scholar athletes by the national office.
Ouellette and Stahl joined the 79 competitive dance student-athletes that received this recognition. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
This is both Ouellette and Stahl's first time being named an NAIA scholar-athlete. This is also the second time in program history that there were two student-athletes on the list.
