The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Siena Heights Competitive Cheer Program had three student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Emily Bayes (1st time), junior, accounting major from Addison, Michigan
Jenah Hamlin (1st time), junior, marketing major and communications minor from Addison, Michigan
Caysie Ringkvist (1st time), senior, social work major and criminal justice/behavioral science minor from Sand Creek, Michigan
