Upcoming for Saints Baseball: The Saints look ahead to seven games this week after dropping two games to Saint Francis (Ind.) last week. All are single games and will be at home in Adrian, Michigan at the SHU Baseball Diamond. 

Head Coach: John Kolasinski enters his 18th season as the head coach for the Saints and his 35th season as a collegiate head coach. Currently, Kolasinski has accumulated a career record of 536-766-1 in over 30 years of coaching. The skipper won his 500th career game on March 6th, 2019 when the Saints beat Bethel 22-9. Kolasinski currently stands as the coach with the second-most wins in Siena Heights baseball history. His best season was his 33-25 record in 2012 -- a 25-win improvement over the previous season.

Spectator Policy: Family members of SHU Student-athletes and a limited number of the Siena Heights Community (Faculty, Students, and Staff) will be allowed to attend SHU Athletic home events held at both facilities. No visiting spectators will be allowed to attend an event on the SHU campus at this time.

Last Week Recap: The Saints dropped a doubleheader against Saint Francis (Ind.) on Wednesday. In-game one, Brad South was 2-4 while earning a triple, Adam Wilding was 2-3, and Cody Henderson was 2-2. Chris Winkelman, Mike Garcia, and Cody Henderson each had an RBI. Parker Swartz started on the mound for the Saints earning two strikeouts while Zach Bloom closed the game with three strikeouts.

In-game two, Devil Hill went 1-4 and earned two RBIs, Cameron Hammer went 2-3 and had two RBIs while earning a double, Adam Wilding was 2-4 with one RBI while recording a double, Haydn Smith earned a double a triple, and a SAC while going 2-2, Chris Winkelman tallied a SAC and an RBI as he went 1-3. Brad South started on the mound for the Saints facing 18 batters and earning two strikeouts while Christian Jabiro closed out the game facing ten batters earning three strikeouts.

Series History: Spring Arbor - The Cougars hold the all-time record 13-6 against the Saints. The last time the two teams met was on March 5th, 2020 on the team's spring training trips in Florida, and Spring Arbor won 29-0. The Cougars have a 2-2 record at SHU Baseball Diamond and they are currently on a two-game winning streak against the Saints. 

Lawrence Tech - This will be the first time the two teams meet this season for four non-conference single games. The teams were supposed to play each other last week but the game got canceled due to cold temperatures. The last time the teams faced each other was in the 2019 season on April 6th in a double-header. Siena lost the first game and Lawrence Tech lost the second game 13-12.

Rochester - The Saints hold the all-time record 13-12 against the Warriors. The two teams have not met each other since the 2019 season for a doubleheader on March 24th at Rochester and the Warriors won the first game 6-4 and SHU won the second game 10-8. The Warriors have a 6-10 record at SHU Baseball Diamond. 

Scouting Report: Spring Arbor - Jackson Kitchen has the team's highest batting average (.343), hits (12), a tied team-high with London Raczkowski in RBIs (7), one triple, and games started (10). Brant Mast leads the team in runs scored (10). London Raczkowski and Brandon Haynes lead the team in doubles with two each. Sean Cassel leads the Cougars on the mound with a 0.79 ERA, 11.1 innings pitched, and 15 strikeouts. 

Lawrence Tech - In the 2020 season, Ryan Robinette had a team-high batting average (.438) and stolen bases (8). Sean Fannon had the highest RBIs (10).  Caleb Homan had the lowest ERA (2.91) and led the team in strikeouts (20).

Rochester - The Warriors have a team batting average of .205, 12 runs, 18 hits, two doubles, and seven RBIs. The team has a combined ERA of 11.70 and 25 strikeouts.
