GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced the members of the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Baseball teams on Thursday afternoon. Siena Heights senior Brendan Green was the lone representative for the Saints to make the NAIA District 1 Team.

Green had a 3.88 GPA and led the Saints this year in hits with 57 and a batting average of .377. He also completed the season with five doubles, 37 runs, 25 RBIs, and four stolen bases on 151 at-bats. The business major from Pickerington, Ohio was named second-team all-conference for the second year in a row and earned his third gold glove award at first base.

With his selection to the all-district team, Green advances to the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America™ consideration. The Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-America™ baseball team will be announced on Monday, June 3, 2019.

The CoSIDA Academic All-District® NAIA District 1 team features student-athletes from NAIA institutions in 22 different states and was voted on by Sports Information Directors in the region.
