Adrian, Mich. – The Siena Heights baseball team lost a one run game to Lourdes this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Saints and Grey Wolves battled out a game of defense and pitching. There was only a combined 9 hits during the game. Both teams scored a run in the first inning. Lourdes scored on a RBI single and Logan Nolff for SHU had a RBI single to tie the game up. The pitching was the key part in most of innings. Lourdes started went all 9 innings giving up the lone one run and strikeout 11 Saints. Wyatt West came in for Siena in the 5^th inning and threw 4 2/3 giving up two hits and zero runs.

Lourdes would score on a bases loaded walk in the 5^th inning and it would be enough to win the game.
