ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Siena Heights baseball team split a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference doubleheader with Concordia on Thursday, winning 3-2 and then losing 8-0.
Brent Vaccaro was the winning pitcher of the 3-2 contest. He worked all nine innings, allowing only one earned run on five hits. He recorded seven strikeouts.
Austin Hauck, Freddy Jehle and Joe Williams had two hits apiece for the Saints (11-14, 6-7).
In the 8-0 defeat, Travis Stricklin went 3-for-3 with a double while Zack Dunlop collected two hits. Kyle Burkholder was the losing pitcher.
