The following was printed on Reginald Moore's HOF
plaque:
Reggie Moore was one of the first outstanding players on the
Siena Heights men’s basketball team. A talented prep
player at Detroit Western High, Moore began his Saints’
career in 1978; the third year in the program’s
history. He was named the team’s Most Valuable Player
in the 1981-82 season and was the school’s all-time leader in
assists and rebounds at the end of his four-year career.
Moore’s career assist and rebound totals still rank him among
the all-time leaders at SHU.
A logistics manager for Delphi, Reggie lives in Adrian and is
Co-Director of the Lenawee Magic Basketball Club.
The Siena Heights University Hall of Fame Committee also honors
an outstanding team in Saints’ athletic history at every
induction ceremony. This year’s featured team is the
1995 Men’s Cross Country team. The Saints ran their way
into the record books with a WHAC Conference Championship and an
8th-place finish at the NAIA National Championships in
Kenosha, Wisconsin. The 8th-place team finish
still ranks as the best finish ever for a Siena Heights cross
country team at the NAIA National Championships. The
’95 Saints were led by SHU Hall of Famer Matt Geha, Josh
Wonders, Mike Decker, Sean Mahar, Ian Hallahan, Adam Dusseau and
Mark Geha.
