The Siena Heights women's cross country team heads down to Charlotte, N.C. for the Royals Cross Country Challenge on Friday, Sept. 29, hosted by Queens University.

In the last NAIA Top 25 Poll, Siena Heights was noted as receiving-votes. The Saints last race was September 9, at the Knight Invitational hosted by Calvin College. SHU finished in fifth place with Andrea Crowe finishing 11th in 18:25.5 as the Saints top-finisher.

As a team, Siena Heights' top five earned a 1:34:56, beating the previous SHU five-person record time by six seconds. The 2006 team earned a time of 1:35:01 at the Region VIII Championships.
