JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Siena Heights women's track and field team will be taking 12 women down to the NAIA Track and Field National Championships beginning Thursday, March 2nd.  The full schedule can be viewed here.

The 12 Saints competing during Nationals include: Asia Gardner, Marissa Johnson, Sheila McKinley, Tasha Mckinley, Alexis Moore, Ashley O'Neill, Brianna Pekel, Mariah Ridal, Ashley, Russo, Olivia Rystarsyk, Charlena Williams and Mildrenae Young-Brooks.

The women have many NAIA top ten athletes competing during Nationals. Gardner (5) in the 60 meter dash and the 200 meter dash, T. McKinley (4) in pole vault, O'Neill (7) in weight throw, Ridal (9) in the 600 meter run, Williams (9) in the triple jump, Young-Brooks (8) in the triple jump and the 4x400 meter relay team (7).

The Saints also have two athletes ranked in the NAIA top three. S. McKinley holds onto third place heading into Nationals in pole vault at 3.84 meters. Johnson tops the NAIA high jump rankings at first with 1.74 meters.
