Saints Fall to Top-Seed Aquinas in WHAC Semifinal

GRAND RAPID, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss at the hands of top-seeded Aquinas in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference semifinal game on Saturday afternoon.

The Saints played tough through the first half as they only surrendered one goal through the opening 45-minute period. Caitlyn Harwood made six saves in the first half to keep SHU within striking distance.

Aquinas added two more goals in the opening three minutes of the second half. Two more were added in the 53rd and 73rd minutes of play to end the scoring on the day.

Emily Broman, MacKenzie Stenzel, and Parker Cheney tallied shots on target but couldn't get a breakthrough in the game.
