#5 Siena Heights at #1 Aquinas

Upcoming for Saints Soccer: The Siena Heights women's soccer team will face top-seeded Aquinas in the semifinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament. The fifth-seeded Saints downed fourth-seed UNOH on Wednesday to advance in the playoff.
Head Coach: In his 22 seasons as the head coach of the Siena Heights women's soccer program, Coach Scott Oliver has led the Saints to four Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular-season championships as well as five WHAC tournament titles. During this time, the Saints have also been to the NAIA tournament six times.
Oliver is the 10th women's soccer winningest active coach by wins in the NAIA and the 14th winningest coach of all time. In addition, he has accounted for over half of the all-time wins for the program.
NAIA Power: The Siena Heights women's soccer program is the third all-time winningest program in the NAIA, with 468 wins. The Saints have the most wins of any team in the WHAC and have 153 more wins than Aquinas, the only other WHAC program in the top 25 for victories.
POSTSEASON SUCCESS: SHU has qualified for the WHAC tournament every season since the inaugural WHAC tournament in 1998. The Saints have won eight tournament titles during that time.
2017 was the last year that the Saints made the tournament finals. Last season's semifinal appearance was the deepest run for SHU since the 2017 title run.
AGAINST AQUINAS: The Saints were eliminated from postseason play with a 4-1 defeat to Aquinas in the semifinal round last season. Siena is 3-1 overall against Aquinas in WHAC tournament games.
The Saints are 11-10-4 against Aquinas. However, AQ has won the last six meetings between the two teams.
This season's affair saw the Saints jump out to a 1-0 lead before Aquinas scored five-straight goals in a 5-2 deficit. That result was the largest margin of victory between the two Saint teams in the series.
