ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's soccer team scored four goals in the first 26 minutes of play in the 4-0 win over Concordia (Mich.) on Friday afternoon. The Saints held a 17-6 edge in shots, including a 10-4 advantage in shots on goal during the homecoming game win.

Isabel Remar got things going with her fifth goal of the season as a pass from Emily Broman moved through the box, and Remar buried it bottom left for the 1-0 lead.

Lily Tiplady followed suit scoring back-to-back goals in the 23rd and 24th minute of play. The first was during a scramble following a corner kick. Morgan Llewellyn tips the ball with her foot to Tiplady, who finished the play. The next goal was unassisted as Tiplady beat her defender and dropped the ball just over the goalkeeper's head to move the Saints to 3-0.

Marissa Young earned her seventh goal in the 26th minute when she scored on a counter to a Concordia corner. Tiplady was in on the assist as she dished a perfect lead pass that freed Young to beat the goalie and score.

Caitlyn Harwood (W, 4-1-1) earned the win for the Saints with four saves in her 71:30 minutes of play. Katie Carver played the final 18:30 in relief and didn't face a shot from the opposition.

Quote from Coach: "Homecoming means a lot to our program, and I am happy that we got off to a fast start and put the game away early. The lead at the half allowed us to go deeper down our bench as we closed things out in the second half."
