Women's Soccer Partners With Cornerstone Again This Year in Friendship Sports BOGO Night

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team is partnering with Cornerstone for the second-straight year for the Friendship Sports B.O.G.O. Night at this Wednesday's Reserve and Varsity games in Grand Rapids. The Saints varsity will play the Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m., E.S.T., with the reserves playing after the varsity match.

During both matches, F.S.I. Ministries will be selling socks, winter hats, and t-shirts. For every purchase of these socks, hats, and shirts, a winter hat or pair of thermal socks will be donated to Matthews House Ministry in downtown Grand Rapids and Degage Ministries. The efforts are to collect socks for the homeless population of Grand Rapids in preparation for the winter season.

This marks the third community project Siena Heights Women's Soccer has done in partnership with Cornerstone women's soccer program. In March of 2019, both teams held a soccer camp for inter-city kids in Detroit, and last season, the Saints and Golden Eagles had the first Friendship Sports B.O.G.O. Night.

Saints fans that would like to contribute to the cause can buy a pair of socks, winter hat, or t-shirt at the game on Saturday or visit the website: https://www.friendshipsports.net/bogo to donate to the cause.
