Early Goals From #4 UNOH Sinks Women's Soccer in Regular-Season Finale

LIMA, Ohio – Two early goals from fourth-ranked Northwestern Ohio sunk the Siena Heights women's soccer team, 2-0, in the regular season finale of Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action.

Camilla Anderson finished an Evdokia Popadinova assist at the 3:02 mark, giving the Racers an early lead they would hold through the match. The final goal of the contest was scored in the 16th-minute as Bogca Horvath finished a pass from Popadinova.

Leading Siena Heights (9-6-2, 6-2-2 WHAC) in shots was Samantha Bartelotti, the lone Saint to take two shots with both on frame. Anderson managed four shots for UNOH while Rikke Sevecke and Horvath each took three shots. The Racers outshots SHU, 20-8, and held a 5-2 corner kick advantage.

Taylor Hill made six saves for Siena Heights as winning-goalkeeper Romane Salvador stopped six shots for the Racers (15-1-1, 10-0-0 WHAC).

SHU will await their fate to see where they finish in the conference to know who they will be hosting next Wednesday in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament.
