ADRIAN, Mich. -- A double-double by Olivia DeLong helped the Siena Heights women's basketball team to an 84-72 victory over WHAC opponent Rochester on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

DeLong finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Jillian Gelso added 18 points while Kayla Hinton provided an all-round effort of 16 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and six steals.

Also for SHU (22-3, 17-2), Jakarri Alven totaled 14 points, six rebounds and two blocks.

The Saints led most of the night after taking a first-quarter lead, but did not put away the Warriors until the later stages.

The visitors managed to cut their deficit to 62-61 before Gelso hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the fourth. The contest was never a one-possession game after that.

Siena Heights will return to play on Saturday with a 5 p.m. WHAC home game against Concordia.
