Fourth-Quarter Comeback Sends Women's Basketball Past UNOH

LIMA, Ohio -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team rallied for a fourth-quarter comeback to defeat Northwestern Ohio, 68-60, during WHAC action on Wednesday night.

The Saints trailed 45-38 after three quarters before starting the fourth on an 11-0 run. E'Anna Won had the first six points and then Kayla Hinton tacked on the next five. SHU never trailed after that.

Hinton finished with 20 points and six rebounds while Won compiled 14 points, eight rebounds and three steals.

Jakarri Alven added 10 points and nine rebounds. Olivia DeLong grabbed seven boards.

Siena Heights outscored UNOH, 30-15, in the fourth. The Saints were 10 of 15 from the field (66.7 percent), including 2 of 3 from 3-point land and 8 of 10 from the free-throw line.

Heading into that final quarter, the Saints were shooting 30.6 percent from the field (15 of 49) and 8.3 percent from 3-point (1 of 12). SHU finished 25 of 64 and 10 of 15.

SHU's largest lead was 65-54. It trailed by as many as nine in the first half.

Siena Heights will return to action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. WHAC game at Cornerstone.
