Rodden Finishes Runner-Up in Final Day of NAIA Championships Action

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- The Siena Heights men's track and field team saw two athletes earn All-American honors in the final day of action at the NAIA Championships, on Saturday.

Brent Rodden went neck-and-neck with the National Champion Presley Martin, losing by only 0.29 seconds. Rodden earned All-American status with his second place time of 1:52.41.

In the pole vault, Devonte Johnson earned eighth place with a vault of 4.62m (15-1 3/4), earning All-American honors.

The Saints finished 17th of 63 teams at the Championships with 14.5 points. Fellow WHAC competitior Indiana Tech won with 118 points.

Siena Heights will be back in action in April for the outdoor track and field season.
