ADRIAN, Mich. -- Davin Walker led the Siena Heights men's basketball team with 18 points as the Saints dropped a 59-51 contest to WHAC opponent Aquinas on Saturday at the SHU Fieldhouse.
Curtis Bell III added a double-double, totaling 10 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Jonas Tester added 11 points and Colin Nutter contributed 10 for SHU (5-14, 2-9).
Siena Heights had built an early 16-5 lead before Aquinas got itself back into the contest with a half-closing 15-4 run to end the first. Bell led that early SHU run with three 3-pointers.
The contest was tied 20-all at halftime and featured numerous lead changes, but Aquinas took the lead for good on a basket by Andrew Larson.
Aquinas widened the margin to 45-38 and SHU pulled within three points on two occasions, but was unable to draw any closer.
Gabe Overway led the visitors with a double-double worth 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jared Dugener added 13 points.
Siena Heights will return to action on Wednesday with a 7:30 p.m. WHAC game at Lourdes.
