THE GAME
The Siena Heights football team will return home for its third home game of the 2014 regular season when Concordia visits O'Laughlin Stadium on Oct. 18 for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The contest -- unoffically dubbed as the WHAC Bowl -- is a Mid-States Football Association Mideast League contest for both squads.

THE SERIES
This is the third meeting between SHU and Concordia. The Saints have won the previous two contests, which took place at Ann Arbor Huron High School's Riverbank Stadium.

On Sept. 15, 2012, the Saints defeated Concordia, 31-14. The following year, on Oct. 19, 2013, Siena Heights won by a 44-3 final.

THE COACHES
Jim Lyall (Michigan '74) is in his fourth season as head coach for Siena Heights, where he now has a 11-14 varsity record. He is 115-106-1 all-time as a collegiate varsity football coach. During SHU's 2011 club season, Lyall went 8-1. He was previously the head coach at Adrian, where he compiled a 103-92-1 varsity slate.

Lonnie Pries (Concordia, Ill.) is in his second year as head coach for Concordia. He is 45-42 all-time as a nine-year varsity football coach, including a 3-13 mark for the Cardinals. He was previously head coach of NCAA Division III member Concordia (Ill.), compiling a 42-29 record while earning three Northern Athletics Conference Coach of the Year awards.

The Buckeye Cable Sports Network will also be on hand for three SHU home games in 2014 -- an agreement which began with the Saints' matchup against Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) on Sept. 27. BCSN will return to O'Laughlin for Siena Heights' games against Taylor, Ind. (Oct. 25) and Robert Morris, Ill. (Nov. 8).

NEXT UP
The Saints will play their second consecutive home game when Taylor (Ind.) visits O'Laughlin Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 25, for a 1 p.m. start. The contest will be a Mid-States Football Association Mideast League matchup.

Taylor is currently 3-3 overall and 1-0 in MSFA Mideast play, claiming a 43-21 win over Concordia on Oct. 11. The Trojans are in action again on Oct. 18 as they are set to host eighth-ranked Robert Morris (Ill.).
