
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Siena Heights Women's Volleyball Program had five student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Lyndsey Benschoter (3rd time), senior, elementary education major, special education minor from Tecumseh, Michigan
Rachel Haft (3rd time), senior, criminal justice major, psychology minor from Tecumseh, Michigan
Jessica Holsapple (1st time), sophomore, nursing major from Huron, Ohio
Olivia Norman (3rd time), senior, elementary education major, from Lapeer, Michigan
Claire VanDyke (3rd time), senior, accounting major from Camden, Michigan
