Three Named To All-WHAC Women's Volleyball First Team; Maesch, Benschoter Also Honored

Siena Heights women's volleyball players Aubrey Bates, Devyne Eisenhauer and Olivia Norman were selected to the All-WHAC First Team, as announced by the league on Thursday.

Bates, a redshirt-senior, is now a five-time All-WHAC honoree while Norman, a senior, is a four-timer. Eisenhauer, a junior, is a two-time All-WHAC player.

Heading into the WHAC Tournament semifinals, Bates is the team leader in assists (925) while ranking third in blocks (34) and tied for fourth in aces (29). She also has 225 digs and 57 kills.

Bates will graduate SHU as the program's all-time career record-holder in two categories with 4,707 assists and 211 aces. She is fifth in digs (1,301) and sixth in block assists (187)

Norman leads the team with 79 total blocks and ranks second on the squad in kills (260). She will leave Siena Heights as the school record-holder in career block assists (308) and is currently second in total blocks (381), third in kills (1,039) and fourth in solo blocks (73).

Eisenhauer tops the roster in kills (324) while ranking second in digs (277). She also has 29 aces and 29 blocks.

Within the WHAC, Bates is third with 9.95 assists per set and sixth in total assists. Norman is fifth in hitting percentage (.314) and eighth in kills per set (2.83). Eisenhauer is fifth in kills per set (3.45) and seventh in total kills.

Previous All-WHAC accolades for Bates include First Team in 2021 and 2022 and Second Team in 2020 and 2023. Norman was First Team in 2022 and 2023 and Second Team in 2021. Eisenhauer was First Team in 2022.

Emalee Maesch was chosen to the WHAC All-Freshman Team. She ranks third on the Saints' roster in kills (215) and digs (268).

Senior Lyndsey Benschoter was named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team.

Academic All-WHAC honorees include three-time honoree Norman, two-time honorees Bates, Benschoter, Rachel Haft and Claire VanDyke, and first-time honorees Melina Hanes and Jessica Holsapple.
