ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team overcame a one-set deficit to take a 3-1 victory over WHAC opponent Indiana Tech on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse. Set scores were 21-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-21.
Devyne Eisenhauer had 16 kills and 10 digs while Kei Sullivan finished with 10 kills for the Saints (19-5, 12-3). Aubrey Bates totaled 32 assists and 17 digs.
Melina Hanes led the back-line with 20 digs. Emalee Maesch added 13 digs and Olivia Norman had four blocks.
The Saints held a 17-8 lead in the first half before the visiting Warriors (22-9, 13-2) stormed back, outscoring SHU 17-4 the rest of the set to take a 1-0 lead.
SHU dominated the next two sets, opening the second with a 4-0 run and, then, starting the third with a 5-0 streak.
In the fourth, the Saints led most of the way, grabbing a 5-2 lead and then holding off a late Indiana Tech rally. Siena Heights scored 5 of 7 points to finish the match.
SHU will return to action Friday with a 7 p.m. WHAC contest at Concordia.
