GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team lost a 3-0 sweep to 12th-ranked Aquinas in WHAC action on Friday night. Set scores were 25-21, 25-15, 25-22.
Devyne Eisenhauer led the Saints (15-5, 8-3) with eight kills, 10 digs and two aces. Olivia Norman and Emalee Maesch added eight and seven kills, respectively.
Aubrey Bates finished with 29 assists and 15 digs. Jessica Holsapple added eight digs.
After falling behind 7-2 to start the opening set, SHU pulled within two points on four different occasions, but could not get past the hosts.
In the second, Siena Heights held a 5-4 edge before Aquinas jumped ahead for good with an 8-1 run.
The third set included 16 ties -- the final one at 20-20. Aquinas (29-1, 11-0) scored 6 of the final 8 points to close the match.
SHU will return to play on Saturday with a WHAC match at Cornerstone.
