
ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team swept a 3-0 match over WHAC opponent Defiance on Saturday at the SHU Fieldhouse. Set scores were 25-21, 25-21, 25-14.
Devyne Eisenhauer led the attack with 17 kills while Aubrey Bates totaled 42 assists and two aces.
Olivia Norman added 11 kills and Kei Sullivan finished with seven kills and three blocks.
Melina Hanes made 13 digs and Emalee Maesch totaled 13 digs, six kills and three aces.
The Saints (15-4, 8-2) had a 5-1 start to open the match, holding the lead through the end of the first.
Down 10-8 in the second, a 7-1 SHU run helped the Saints ahead for good in that set.
In the third, Siena Heights broke a 5-all tie with a 12-2 stretch and held the lead for good.
The Saints will be in action next when they visit Aquinas for a 7 p.m. WHAC contest on Friday.
