
ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team took a 3-0 sweep over cross-town rival Adrian on Friday in non-conference play at the SHU Fieldhouse. Set scores were 28-26, 25-21, 25-9.
Devyne Eisenhauer led the Saints' attack with 21 kills and 11 digs. Emalee Maesch added nine kills and 13 digs while Kei Sullivan put down six kills.
Aubrey Bates made 35 assists. Melina Hanes and Jessica Holsapple chipped in with 17 and 12 digs, respectively. Kadie Morse totaled six blocks.
The opening set featured 15 ties before the Saints (12-4) clawed their way to the opening point. Down 20-15, the Saints answered with a 13-6 finish to take the first.
SHU trailed 18-17 in the second before pushing past the Bulldogs (4-8) with an 8-3 stretch.
A dominant third set from SHU included 5- and 4-point runs before the host Saints finished with an 8-0 streak.
Siena Heights will return to action on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. contest at WHAC opponent Lourdes.
