
ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team earned a 3-2 comeback victory over WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech on Wednesday night. Set scores in favor of SHU were 26-28, 21-25, 25-20, 25-20, 15-8.
Devyne Eisenhauer led the attack with 21 kills while Kei Sullivan and Olivia Norman put down 11 and 10, respectively. Aubrey Bates made 51 assists.
On the defensive end, Melina Hanes finished with 31 digs, followed in order by Bates (18), Emalee Maesch (17) and Eisenhauer (10).
The Saints were in line to take a 1-0 match lead, holding match point at 24-20 in the first before the host Blue Devils (5-5, 3-1) erupted for an 8-2 run. The second set went to seven ties before LTU pulled away, setting the stage for the Saints' reverse sweep.
SHU broke a 12-12 tie to pull away in the third and, in the fourth, snapped a 10-10 knot with a 7-1 run lead en route to tying the contest at 2-2.
The Saints posted their highest hitting percentage of the night in the fifth, racking up a .423 percentage. With the match tied at 2-2, SHU scored three consecutive points and led the rest of the way.
Siena Heights (8-3, 3-1) will return to play on Friday with a 7 p.m. match at WHAC opponent Rochester Christian.
