The 2022 Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football and volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
The Saints saw four women's volleyball players honored. Kadie Carsten, a junior from Ida, Michigan had 166 kills, 38 blocks and 30 aces fro the Saints this year. She is a nursing major. Olivia Norman, a sophomore from Lapeer, Michigan played in 31 matches notching 277 kills and 125 blocks. She is a psychology major who was also named 1st Team All-WHAC this year. Payton Osborne, a junior from Monroe, Michigan who played in all 32 matches led the team with 508 digs on the season. She is a nursing major. Kinsey Wagner, a junior from Clayton, Michigan played in all 32 matches and had 255 kills to go along with 81 blocks and 29 aces. She is a nursing major.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
