ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team defeated Rochester in straight sets on Friday night. Kinsey Wagner (Clayton, Mich.) led the Saints with 15 kills in the match, a career-high mark.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints used a match-high .395 hitting percentage in the first set to pull ahead 1-0 after a 25-17 win. Siena had two runs of 4-0 and 3-0 to pull ahead and earn the opening set victory.
Rochester used a 4-0 run to take an 11-7 lead in the second. The Saints responded later with a 4-0 lead of their own to jump ahead 13-12. The score remained tight throughout the rest of the game but Siena held on for the 25-19 decision and a 2-0 lead.
The third set was all Siena as the Saints had runs of 6-0 and 4-0 to build a 21-11 lead before closing out the match with a 25-14 win to complete the sweep.
The Saints had 17 kills in the first set, 13 in the second, and 15 in the third.
TOP SAINTS
• Wagner finished with a .423 hitting percentage while also helping on defense with four digs.
• Aubrey Bates (Grand Haven, Mich.) paced the attack with 29 assists, four kills, and five digs.
• Karsyn Wolf (Temperance, Mich.) and Cailynn Sullivan (Hudson, Ohio) each had a team-high 14 digs.
• Sam Huddleston (Brooklyn, Mich.) tallied 13 digs.
THE OPPOSITION
• Autumn Deshetsky led the Warriors with 13 assists and 10 digs.
