
HILLSDALE, Mich. -- Margherita Conrad posted the top pole vault height in the NAIA while winning the event during Hillsdale's Wide Track Classic. As a whole, the Siena Heights women's indoor track and field placed fifth out of 12 teams.
Conrad's automatic-qualifying height was 13 feet, 1 1/2 inches (4.00 meters) and was 1 of 3 qualifying marks for the Saints. Teammate Emma Stewart placed sixth with a provisional vault of 11-11 3/4 (3.65m).
In the 60-meter hurdles, Faith Jackson had a provisional -- and winning time -- of 8.73.
Haley Bell (5,000) and Emma Valentine (high jump) also registered wins for SHU. Bell finished in 19:10.11 and Valentine cleared 5-5 3/4 (1.67m).
In team scoring, the Saints had 114 points. Team champ Findlay had 195 points.
