High Jumper Valentine Named WHAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Siena Heights women's high jumper Emma Valentine was named WHAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference on Monday.

Valentine won the high jump at the Saginaw Valley Holiday Classic with a school-record height of 5 feet, 10 inches (1.78 meters), breaking her old record by a quarter-inch (5-9 3/4).

Valentine is the No. 1-ranked women's high jumper in the NAIA.
