FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Margherita Conrad won the pole vault, helping the Siena Heights women's outdoor track and field team to a fourth-place finish after the WHAC Championships, which took place at Indiana Tech Thursday and Friday.

Conrad led a 1-3-4 finish by SHU in the vault with a season-best 3.85 meters (12 feet, 7 1/2 inches). Tyler Fugate and Samantha Nowell placed third and fourth, respectively, with a top height of 3.75m (3 3/4).

Faith Jackson and Emma Valentine added auto performances while earning runner-up finishes. Richards placed second in the 100-meter in 13.80 seconds. Valentine cleared 1.70m (5-7 1/4) in the high jump.

Jackson was also part of a 4x100 relay team that hit provisional status. She, Jocie Berry, Linnearia Richards and Jenna-Ann Johnson had a time of 47.70.
