Women's Soccer Remains Unbeaten in WHAC Conference Action

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team rolled to another dominant victory over WHAC conference opponent Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday at O'Laughlin Stadium. 

Lily Tiplady, Madison Verhaeghe, Christina Ibanez-Merino, and Parker Cheney all recorded goals in the Saints' dominant victory. 

Tallying the lone assist for the Saints was Emily Broman off Tiplady's breakaway goal in the 14th minute. 

In goal, Kendall Wise played the entire first half as she recorded one save. Lily Diamond and Sydney Eads both saw action in the second half as each did not see a single shot on goal. 

The Saints jumped out to a big lead in the first half as they led 3-0 going into halftime. Tiplady opened the game scoring for SHU in the 14th minute with Broman assisting on the goal. Going into halftime, Verhaeghe and Ibanez-Merino got on the board for the Saints in the first half in the 28th and 32nd minute. 

In the second half, the Saints closed the game out scoring two more goals. Cheney scored the first goal in the 56th minute, and the final goal was an own goal scored by Michigan-Dearborn in the 89th minute. 

The Saints will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 25, with a 7 p.m. EDT game vs Aquinas at home.
