Siena Heights senior Kaleigh Mahaz was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's soccer defensive player of the week by the league this afternoon. 

Mahaz anchored a tough Saint defense that only allowed two shots on goal between the two games last week. She also scored the game-winning goal in the 1-0 overtime win against Huntington in the 94th minute of play.

This is Mahaz's second WHAC player of the week award of her career and the second conference player of the week award for the Saints in consecutive weeks this season.

The Saints are back in action on Sunday, September 19 when they host Thomas More at 1:00 p.m. inside O'Laughlin Stadium.
