Upcoming for Saints Soccer: The Saints will look to improve to 3-0 on the season with their third and final home contest of the 2020 stint when they host Concordia (Mich.).

Broadcast: Saturday's game will be streamed at 4 P.M. on the SHU Saints YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/c/shusaints

Head Coach: In his 20 seasons as the head coach of the Siena Heights women's soccer program, Coach Scott Oliver has been able to lead the Saints to four Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular-season championships as well as five WHAC tournament titles.  In this time, the Saints have also been to the NAIA tournament six times.

Series Notes: Siena Heights leads the series against Concordia 18-4-2 since 2005. The last time these two teams met Siena Heights took the win 3-2 on Concordia's turf. The season before that, Concordia won 2-0 at Siena. This will be Concordia's 14th appearance at O'Laughlin Stadium in Adrian, Mich with that home series swaying towards SHU (10-2-1). The Saints and Cardinals have tied each other twice once on Sep. 23, 2008, in double-overtime at Concordia and the other on Nov. 5, 2014, in the WHAC Quarterfinal at Siena Heights. The two teams have met in the WHAC Quarterfinal one other time on Nov. 2, 2016, and Siena earned the 3-0 win.

Sizing up the Cardinals: Concordia has a 1-1 start to the season. They won against Rochester (10-0) on Saturday, Oct. 3. They lost against Cornerstone (3-2) on Saturday, Oct. 10. Samantha Golchuk leads the team in goals (5), points (11), shots (10), and shots on goal (9).
Amay Ciszewski and Kendra Lewis respectively lead the team in assists (2). Anna Roman has started both games for the Cardinals in net while making six saves and earning an SV% of .667

Making History: With the 1-0 win over Indiana Tech on October 3rd, Siena Heights became the first college women's soccer program to reach 450 wins.

On the Right Foot: The Saints have started a season 2-0 three times since 2010. Each of those years (2011, 2014, 2018) also saw SHU start conference play 2-0. Siena accomplished this feat for the fourth time this decade with a 1-0 win over Lourdes this past Saturday.

Change of Plans: Due to Covid-19, the Saints have had to adapt and because of this, half of their season will be played out in the spring due to many teams in the WHAC deciding to move their entire season to the Spring. The NAIA has also moved all fall championships to the spring 2021 season as well.
