Siena Heights All-Decade Series: Women's Soccer

ADRIAN, MICH. – The Siena Heights Athletics Department will be announcing an all-decade team for every SHU athletic team to finish out the year 2020. Each all-decade squad will feature a starting lineup consisting of the best athletes at each position from the past 10 seasons.

This edition features the Siena Heights women's soccer all-decade team. The first team consists of Hailey Mancini, Lindsey Mancini, Hannah Ulrich, Kelsey Young, Emily Burkman, Julia Stancato, Paige Frey, Carlee Pallett, Mackenzy Hickner, Taylor Mulder, and Samantha Bartelotti.

The second-team all-decade is Crystal Wilcoxen, Meghan Bogg, Katelyn Hawarny, Daniella Dedvukaj, Kelsey Schoenberger, Kaleigh Mahaz, Alexis Gainer, Danielle Eastman, Paige Rachut, Alessia Vagnini, and Alexis Donnelly.

The women's soccer all-decade team is one of the most decorated squads that will be featured this year. With nine All-America nods, four WHAC defensive player of the year selections, and a slew of academic and All-WHAC picks.

Hailey Mancini – Mancini had a slew of awards during her career at Siena Heights. She earned second-team All-WHAC in 2007 before making the first team for the next three years (2008, 2009, 2010). For the 2010 season, she was named the WHAC defensive player of the year. She also added an NSCAA All-Region and All-America third team honor to the list before completing her career with the Thomas Emmet Sr. Award.

Lindsey Mancini – She was an All-WHAC second-team pick in 2008. She moved up to a first-team All-WHAC selection in both 2009 and 2010. For the 2009 campaign, she was named the WHAC defensive player of the year as well as an NSCAA All-Region and first-team All-America.

Hannah Ulrich – Ulrich earned All-WHAC team selections every year of her career. First was a second-team spot in 2009. In 2010, she was a third-team All-WHAC choice before gaining a first-team nod in 2011 and 2012. She was an NSCAA third-team All-America pick in 2011 and an NAIA All-America honorable mention in both 2011 and 2012.

Kelsey Young – Young's biggest year was 2014 where she was the WHAC defensive player of the year, a first-team All-WHAC selection, NAIA All-America honorable mention, and an NSCAA all-region pick.

 Emily Burkman – Burkman was named first-team All-WHAC in 2015, 2016, and 2017. She was an NAIA All-America honorable mention in 2016 and 2017. She was awarded an NSCAA All-Academic award in 2016.

Julia Stancato – Stancato was another WHAC defensive player of the year for the Saints, earning the award in 2018. She was named first-team All-WHAC in both 2018 and 2019. She was a CoSIDA Academic All-District pick in 2019.

Paige Frey – Frey earned first-team all-league in 2013 and honorable mention in 2014. In 2013, she was a recipient of the NSCAA All-Academic award.

Carlee Pallett – Earned All-WHAC honorable mention in 2011, 2012, and 2014.

Mackenzy Hickner – Was an all-conference second-team player in 2010 and a two-time all-conference honorable mention (2011, 2012).

Taylor Mulder – Mulder was the WHAC Newcomer of the Year in 2015 as well as a first-team All-WHAC pick and an NAIA All-America honorable mention. In 2016, she earned second-team All-WHAC status. 2018 was her most successful year as a Saint as she hauled in first-team all-conference and CoSIDA Academic All-Region, and first-team All-America.

Samantha Bartelotti – Bartelotti was selected first-team All-WHAC in 2015 and 2016. She was selected to the second team in 2017. Her 2015 season saw her earn an NAIA All-America honorable mention as well.
