Saints Draw Robert Morris In Double Overtime Nail Biter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, ILL. -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team fought to earn the win over Robert Morris (Ill.) but came up short as the score remained at zeros after 2OT to result in a tie of 0-0. Isabel Remar (Lowell, Mich.) recorded four shots, two of which were on goal in effort to earn a victory for the Saints.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Neither team was able to capitalize on its chances in the first half and the score remained zeros at half time. The Eagles edged the Saints eight to five in shots on the period. The Saints edged the Eagles two to one in cornerkicks on the period.

Neither team was able to capitalize on its chances in the second half either and the scored still remained zeros forcing both teams to face off in overtime. SHU edged Robert Morris seven to six in shots on the period. Robert Morris edged SHU three to two in cornerkicks on the period.

TOP SAINTS

• Remar led SHU with four shots, two which were on goal in an effort to put them on the board.

Jennifer Richmond (Canton, Mich.) recorded three shots, one which was on goal trying to put them on the board as well.

Kara Bishop (T, 0-0-1) saved eight of the eight shot on goal she faced between the pipes for the Saints.

THE OPPOSING

• Lexy Langloss led the Eagles with six shots, one of which was on goal.

• Gabbi Christidis recorded four shots, two which were on goal trying to put them on the board.

• Alyssa Darling (T, 1-0-1) saved five of the five shots she faced on goal in 90 minutes of play for Robert Morris
