Five Women's Soccer Players Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes

The Siena Heights women's soccer program had five athletes honored as 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes, as announced recently.

Two-time honorees include Taylor Hill, Erin Scheidel and Rachel Sherman while Taylor Mulder and Madison Tedora each earn this award for the first time.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor. A total of 614 women's soccer players were honored.
