
A total of five Siena Heights women's soccer players were recognized as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the NAIA today.
The honorees include senior Madison Phillips and juniors Morgan Behn, Gabi Corbin, Brittany Trout and Emily Loar.
Corbin is a mathematics major and Trout is a sport management major.
Future educators may include Phillips, a secondary education major; Behn, a special education major; and Loar, an early education major.
All five Saints were also recognized as 2015 Academic All-WHAC honorees. Phillips is a two-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-WHAC honoree.
In order to be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status. A total of 588 women were recognized.
