This win brings the program to a 400-170-45 overall record, with a winning percentage of .702.
Siena Heights has offered women's soccer as a varsity sport since 1986, the program's inaugural season. The Saints have reached each 100 victory milestone in a timely manner. The first 100 wins occurred in 1993, in the eighth season of the women's soccer program.
In the 15th season (2000), the women's soccer program met 200 victories. Siena Heights reached 300 wins with the final win in the 2007, 22nd, season.
Finally, in 30th season, the Saints accomplished 400 wins for the women's soccer program. To top it off, Siena Heights women's soccer program is the winningest women's soccer program in the state of Michigan, edging out Calvin College that has 397 wins.
In the state of Michigan, only five other women's soccer programs have eclipsed the 300 win mark. Hope College recently joined with 300 wins exactly, its program starting in 1989. Michigan State has 308 wins under its belt since the first season in 1985. Since 1996, Grand Valley State has accumulated 318 wins.
There are two programs that closely compare to Siena Heights. The first is Calvin College, which started in 1988, with 397 wins. The second is Kalamazoo College with 389 wins since its inaugural season in 1982. Both of these programs are members of the NCAA Division III, in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).
The Saints are the third National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics program to eclipse the 400 win plateau. The other schools to do so are: Westmont College, Calif. (420) and Lindsey Wilson College, Ky. (407).
