
SYLVANIA, Ohio -- The 15th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team defeated Lourdes (Ohio) in a 3-0 contest, on Saturday.
Taylor Mulder opened the scoring for the Saints in the fifth minute, finishing a rebound off of the Gray Wolves' (8-8-1, 5-5-0) keeper. Emily Loar added on two insurance goals for Siena Heights. In the 44th minute, Loar finished a pass from Kacey Lawniczak, touched by Samantha Bartelotti. Loar struck in the 78th minute, again finishing a pass from Bartelotti to end the scoring for the match.
Winning goalkeeper Meghan Bogg made one save for the Saints. The Gray Wolves' goalkeeper Erika Brinkman made four stops in net.
Siena Heights outshot Lourdes, 12-2, and held a 5-0 corner-kick advantage.
The Saints finished their regular season with a 15-3-0 record overall and 8-2-0 record in the WHAC. The Siena Heights women's soccer team enter the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament as the No. 2 seed. SHU will host Lourdes (Ohio) on Wednesday, Nov. 4, for the first round of the WHAC Tournament.
