
Siena Heights women's soccer seniors Alexis Donnelly and Kelsey Young were recognized as NAIA All-America honorable mentions, as announced by the governing body on Monday.
Both Donnelly and Young were previously named to the All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference First Team; Young was recognized as WHAC Defensive Player of the Year.
In 2014, Young anchored a SHU defense that recorded 15 shutouts and a 0.47 goals-against average. The Saints finished with a 15-4-2 overall record and 6-2-1 conference slate. They lost in the WHAC Tournament final, 1-0, to eventual NAIA Tournament finalist Northwestern Ohio.
Young started all 21 games, compiling one goal and five assists. She was previously an All-WHAC honorable mention in 2013.
Donnelly also started all 21 games, ranking first on the team with seven assists while rating second in goals (8) and points (23). She had four game-winning goals in 2014.
