GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Elizabeth Davis scored in the fifth minute to lift the 21st-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Cornerstone in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regular-season finale on Saturday.
Davis received an assist from Samantha Bartelotti on the game-winner.
Winning goalkeeper Crystal Wilcoxen made one save for the Saints while Cornerstone goalie Allison Snowden stopped eight shots.
SHU outshot Cornerstone, 13-2, and held a 6-4 corner-kick advantage.
The Saints will play their next game at home when they host a WHAC Tournament quarterfinal on Wednesday.
