Bitter Goal Lifts #20 Women's Soccer to Sixth Straight Shutout Win

Jori Bitter Reaction To Goal at Indiana Tech FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Jori Bitter scored the game's only goal while winning goalkeeper Crystal Wilcoxen made five saves as the 20th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team claimed its sixth straight win -- and sixth consecutive shutout -- with a 1-0 victory over Indiana Tech in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action on Saturday.

Bitter converted a header off Kelsey Young's corner kick in the 42nd minute, putting SHU ahead for good. 

Bre Wojnarowski had four saves in net for Indiana Tech (6-5-0, 0-3-0).

Dating back to its only loss -- a 1-0 defeat at Saint Francis (Ind.) -- Siena Heights has gone 609 minutes and 55 seconds without allowing a goal.

The Saints (11-1-0, 3-0-0) will return to play on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. home contest against nationally-ranked Northwestern Ohio.
