
Siena Heights women's soccer junior Elizabeth Davis was named to the Capital One Academic All-District Team, which is chosen by CoSIDA (Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America).
Davis was honored in the District 1 College Division category, which encompasses Canadian schools and NAIA and two-year schools in Alabama, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont and West Virginia.
Davis is a biology major and member of Beta Beta Beta, the biology honor society on campus. In her first year on campus, she was named most outstanding freshman student in biology and chemistry.
Nominees for the CoSIDA award must have a GPA of 3.30 or higher and be of sophomore, junior or senior academic standing at their respective institution.
